Blackjack Two Queen Of Hearts
Lucky Ladies is one of the most popular blackjack side bets ever. It started in Washington state and now can be found in casinos all over the place. The idea is that any player 20-point hand wins something. Certain twenties, especially those involving two queens pay more.

In a Blackjack game with 6 decks, what are the odds of the dealer hitting blackjack and a player hitting two Queens of hearts. I figured the odds of hitting the two queens are: (6/312)(5/311) = 0.000309176 and the odds of the dealer hitting blackjack in a 6 deck game are 0.04749, so the odds of both happening are (0.000309176)(0.04749) = 0.000014683 or 1/68,106.
Or it didn't happen.
Just hit the 2 Queen of Hearts in Lucky Ladies at Harrah's Atlantic City last night with a $25 bet and the dealer had Blackjack! Paid out 1000 to 1, for a score $25,000, minus the $100 lost on the hand (lol) Gonna suck when I have to do taxes next year! Why are you playing a H17 game especially with that action? First Two Cards Payout Queen of Hearts Pair (with Dealer Blackjack)1000 to 1 Queen of Hearts Pair 200 to 1 Matched 20 25 to 1 Suited 20 10 to 1 Any 20 4 to 1 (Only highest payout paid per player. Matched 20 is two identical cards.).
Paid in 10 minutes and no mention of a W-2G. Sounds fishy to me.
Yeah, definitely questionable with that time frame, or they are super efficient. :) One time I saw a straight flush (not a royal) on Let it Ride. They took a lot more than 10 minutes on that. I was just a wandering casino patron...iirc, it was closer to the half hour range.

Edit: Given new knowledge of OP's status, this makes a bit more sense now.Yeah, definitely questionable with that time frame, or they are super efficient. :) One time I saw a straight flush (not a royal) on Let it Ride. They took a lot more than 10 minutes on that.
There's a HUGE difference on an LIR game vs. BJ. In LIR, the players hold and can manipulate the cards. The reason it takes so long is because there can be a large amount of doubt if that result is accurate. In BJ on a shoe game, the dealer was manipulating the cards the entire time; proof is pretty easy at that point. Any dealer collusion would be VERY difficult, though not impossible. However, the surveillance checks are much faster: 1) Did the dealer pull out new cards of the shuffling machine? 2) Did anybody touch or move the cards other than the dealer? 3) Did a bet get changed or manipulated in the process of the deal?
I'm sure there are other things they have to look for, but it takes much less time than checking a game where players are holding the cards. Further, if you've ever hit the Fire Bet for 6 points on craps, the time it takes to fill out the information at a full-table is relatively short, and they try to keep the action moving. I imagine it's the same thing for the Lucky Ladies. This photo COULD have been doctored, but the OP was suspended for other comments on another thread, not on this one. I have no reason to doubt that it's legit.
Are there 5 Queens on the table?
Yes. And a shoe.
Or as one dealer opined: 'Its only a buck and if you don't bet it and it hits, you will never hear the end of it from your wife'.
I do agree though on table games it usually is a 30 minute ordeal.
